État des lieux abstrait et sensible&nbsp;d’une peau tatouée. Topographie met en lumière les aspérités d’un épiderme marqué, coloré, décoré, abîmé. Le tatouage n’apparait pas nettement comme un dessin mais plutôt comme une couleur (ou une non couleur), une nuance de gris et de noir, une texture. L’ansence de couleur vient renforcer cette abstraction. Le grain de l’image vient s’entremêler au grain de la peau. Ce projet ne se compose que de bâtiments des années 50 aux années 70, avec un intérêt pour leur architecture, mais aussi pour ce qu'ils incarnaient, un sentiment de renouveau, de confort de vie ou de travail, un idéal de vie d'après guerre et bien évidemment les Trente Glorieuses. Les bâtiments surgissant dans l’image, sont écrasés, il n'y a pas de profondeur de champ, ils sont comme collés sur un fond bleu, qui se décline en camaïeu. Le ciel devient un fond de studio Colorama sans limite, uniquement délimité par le cadre de la photo. Les fenêtres et les balcons apparaissent comme des motifs ou des surfaces unies, la présence humaine est parfois perceptible par un détail : une plante, un store de balcon. Les habitations sont clairement déshumanisées et les bâtiments administratifs sont dépourvus de toutes fonctions économico-sociales. La ville devient par ses hauteurs un motif de contemplation platonique et silencieuse. J’utilise à cet effet une vaisselle rarement neuve, souvent usagée et parfois ébréchée. J’ai alors commencé à accumuler des pièces de différents services des marques Duralex, Vereco, Luminarc et Arcoroc. Ce type de vaisselle incarne la durabilité, la robustesse que l’on proposait aux classes populaires et moyennes au lendemain de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale et également utilisée dans les cantines ou autres lieux collectifs de restauration. Le service Duralex 2000 de couleur vermeil ou le verre gigogne de la même marque dans laquelle on regardait le numéro inscrit au fond pour savoir son âge, sont assurément des madeleines de Proust pour beaucoup. Près de soixante-dix ans se sont écoulés depuis la production de certaines pièces. Plusieurs histoires personnelles et familiales apparaissent dans ma collection de verres trempés, au travers des traces laissées par le temps et l’usage de chacun. Visuellement, l’usure donne une texture et une couleur différente au verre, s’approchant du verre dépoli. Par ailleurs, les tasses, assiettes, plats, bols, coquetiers, beurriers, légumiers, gobelets deviennent matière, couleur, forme, motif et viennent ainsi constituer ma palette. De ce fait, j’utilise cette palette pour composer ces images à la fois graphiques et colorées, dans lesquelles l’objet perd sa nature première et son statut d’objet, pour devenir autre chose. Ce travail de composition donne lieu à une production photographique abstraite. &nbsp;« Formes Utiles » aborde de manière plastique l’histoire des classes populaires&nbsp;et moyennes, ainsi que l’histoire industrielles françaises, l’histoire du design et&nbsp;pour terminer l’histoire de l’art. Pour finir, j’aimerais préciser que j’ai choisi ce&nbsp;titre en référence à l’association Formes Utiles créée en 1949 par André Hermant,&nbsp;Charlotte Perriand et René Herbst au sein de L’Union des Artistes Modernes.&nbsp;Après une séparation d’avec UAM, un manifeste a été rédigé par Hermant, des&nbsp;expositions ont eu lieux durant neuf années, pendant le Salon des Arts Ménagers&nbsp;et une revue éponyme a vu le jour. Les expositions et la revue mettaient en scène&nbsp;des objets du quotidien, suivant une thématique. <img width="1288" height="1669" width_o="1288" height_o="1669" réalisée chez mon grand-père, après son décès. J’ai photographié cette maison familiale pendant plusieurs années et ce, au cours des différentes étapes de disparition et de déménagement des affaires de ce dernier. J’ai tout d’abord enregistré, juste après sa mort, son intérieur avec une lumière chaude, laissant en place ses objets personnels. Pour l’une des images, j’ai utilisé son intérieur comme un décor de cinéma, en y introduisant un personnage. Ensuite, le personnage disparaît pour laisser place au vide qui va s’installer peu à peu, tout au long de la série. La domesticité du lieu disparait dans un premier temps par le changement de lumière, puis par la disparition d’effets personnels. J’ai volontairement photographié plusieurs fois les mêmes pièces, mais avec des points de vue, des distances et une lumière différents. A chaque images, les pièces apparaissent autrement. Par ailleurs, la lumière devient de plus en plus rasante, créant une ambiance plus froide et plus silencieuse et donnant lieu à différentes dominantes colorées. Les matières, les formes, les motifs, les couleurs et les lumières prennent de plus en plus de place, comme si ce lieu familier était devenu autre chose, une abstraction en devenir. Ces photographies parlent de la disparition, du changement, du vide, de l’anonymat progressif, du souvenir puis de l’oubli, de la mémoire. Je me suis détachée de ce lieu en me le réaoppropriant photographiquement, au travers d’une démarche phénoménologique, dans laquelle je présente la présence de l’absence. <img width="1200" tant que figure négative. Le skinhead&nbsp;est devenu, selon l’expression de Stanley Cohen, ce démon familier qu’une large production d’articles et de récits&nbsp;plus ou moins fictionnels ont largement contribué à populariser. Pour autant, aussi communément admise soitelle,&nbsp;cette image relève plus du stéréotype commode, du cliché journalistique ayant fait flores. Ma thèse consacrée à la construction, l’évolution et la diffusion du mouvement skinhead m’a amené à m’interroger sur les notions de perception et de représentation au travers des rapports entre subcultures et&nbsp;médias. J’ai ainsi cherché à montrer comment journaux et télévision, en fonctionnant sous le régime de la simplification et de l’amplification, avaient fixé le cadre de perception de cette subculture et participer directement à&nbsp;l’émergence, voire à la co-production, du phénomène naziskin. Ce questionnement sur l’image, sur la représentation m’a amené à engager un dialogue fructueux ave&nbsp;Alexandra Czmil qui travaillait également sur les subcultures en y apportant un regard pertinent. Cet échange&nbsp;s’est concrétisé par une exposition sur la subculture skinhead, croisant l’approche sociologique et photographique, pour produire, à partir de nos travaux, une interpellation commune quant à cette notion de représentation.&nbsp;Alexandra, par son travail, complète parfaitement l’analyse sémiologique des subcultures initiée par Dick&nbsp;Hebdige. Elle porte l’attention sur des éléments signifiants de la panoplie subculturelle incarnant un style de vie&nbsp;: détails physiques, vêtements, objets, constituant les formes plastiques de l’ensemble stylistique composant&nbsp;les formes fondamentales du style selon Phil Cohen. Qui plus est, en ouvrant le cadre, en saisissant chez eux les&nbsp;acteurs et représentants de ces subcultures, et en particulier ceux et celles appartenant à la mouvance skinhead,&nbsp;elle donne chair et consistance à des personnages autrement réduits à des figures caricaturales et désincarnées. Ainsi se trouvent illustrées les notions d’appropriationnisme en tant qu’incorporation d’un style étranger, mais aussi en tant que ressource et héritage culturel issus d’une mémoire reçue et négociée et s’incarnant en ces formes d’expressions actualisées. Exécuter une poussée jusqu’à la position verticale. Exécuter&nbsp;une descente verticale au même rythme que la poussée. » L’artiste a réalisé une série de portraits photographiques de huit nageuses de natation synchronisée. Elles posent devant l’appareil photo : leur regard tourné vers l’objectif n’exprime&nbsp;aucune émotion. Elles viennent de sortir de la piscine, juste après leur entrainement. Elles&nbsp;portent encore leur maillot de bain, bonnet et lunettes. On voit la trace des pince-nez. L’artiste&nbsp;prend aussi la photo de leur dos pour compléter les silhouettes qui sont ensuite découpée et enfermée entre deux dalles du verre. Le bloc de béton&nbsp;renforce la structure de chaque élément de l’installation. Leur disposition dans l’espace&nbsp;fait référence à une figure éponyme de natation.&nbsp;Cette épreuve demande de la précision,&nbsp; de la technique, un effort physique et bien évidemment la synchronisation de tous les membres&nbsp;de l’équipe. Mais on ne voit pas cette splendeur et la performance du spectacle aquatique&nbsp;– les filles dans les images ne sourient pas, elles ne sont pas gracieuses. Leurs corps sont&nbsp;décontractés et fatigués. À la place de la féerie des couleurs, des paillettes et des sourires de&nbsp;circonstances et malgré leurs efforts physiques, ici, nous ne voyons que des filles ordinaires&nbsp;au corps encore plus lourds car les photos sont enfermées dans ces structures de verre et de&nbsp;béton. L’installation Barracudas est fondée sur un geste de démasquassions. Les portraits photographiques de nageuses dépassent un accrochage classique et changent leur statut. Ce ne sont&nbsp;plus de simples images mais des sculptures. L’artiste, une ancienne nageuse de natation synchronisée,&nbsp;joue avec les codes de ce sport. Cette décision formelle sert à montrer le côté&nbsp;humain du combat physique et du travail difficile du corps et de l’esprit.
